MEET THE THREE BLAI PERIS GENERATIONS

Blai Peris is built upon the creative and entrepreneurial character of Eduardo Peris, the brand’s founder and soul since 1985, when he packed the very first batch of olives from the Empeltre variety. He called it Blai Peris to honour his father; today, his sons and nephews have joined him and contributed to the diversification and expansion of the company.

 

 
 
A CHARACTER-FORGING ENVIRONMENT

Among fields of olive trees, almonds and vineyards, Blai Peris was born as a family-run business devoted to experimenting, discovering and stimulating the senses with a modest and abundant good: olives. This product, traditional from the dry lands of the Terra Alta (Tarragona), is one of the basic ingredients of the Mediterranean cuisine, offering unending possibilities.

 

 
 
OUR SPECIALTIES

This is how at Blai Peris we started to diversify our product range. Starting off with Arbequina olives and flavoured olivada, or olive paste, we engaged in a constant search for products and blends which would surprise our consumers. Twenty years on, Blai Peris is still committed to quality, creativity and honesty in the food industry. We treasure an ever-growing product family which includes olives, olive paste, tomato sauce and a whole range of organic products.

 

 
 
A UNIQUE AND ARTISANAL PROCESS

After that first batch of Empeltre olives, Eduardo Peris worked hard to make the small company grow. Following his instinct, he tried and dismissed different conservation methods that didn’t live up to his expectations. In the end, he himself invented a method that allowed him to do without chemicals, and this is how he got the desired result: artisanal and top quality.
